This is one of three pretty little vintage 1930s Scottish Monart Glass plates that I have in my online store. They are listed as (A), (B) and (C). They look good together, but being handmade there are slight differences in each one.
This is a good starter piece for your collection of Monart glass. The body colour is a mottled sea-green glass. Around the rim, there is a clear glass bans which is liberally speckled with lots of gold aventurines that twinkle in the light. The base is polished and there is a polished pontil mark. It has no label - but it is definitely an old Monart glass dish and is being sold as such.
As you can see from my photographs - it is an interesting piece and looks great on display. It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.
I have taken lots of images were taken for your inspection.
Dimensions: The diameter is 9 1/4 inches and it is 1 inch in height.
It shall be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked postage in the UK. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
