This is a set of four little vintage 1950s Scottish Vasart Glass plates. They are similar to the Monart ones that I have listed, but these ones are of a later date.
This is a good starter piece for your collection of Scottish glass. The body colour is a pale mottle lilac blue glass. Around the rim, there is a clear glass band covered with streaks of aqua green glass. The base is polished and there is a little raised pontil mark on the base. These can be firmly attributed to Vasart - as one is signed: Vasart, as photographed. There is no gold or silver aventurine flakes in these plates.
All the plates are in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.
I have taken lots of images were taken for your inspection. I am selling these as a wee job lot at £40 each plate. This totals up at £160.
Dimensions: The diameter is 6 3/4 inches and it is 1 inch in height.
It shall be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked postage in the UK. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
