This is a stunning little antique 1920s Scottish Monart Glass Bowl. It is classified as UB VII.
It is certainly a good starter piece for your collection of Monart glass. The body colour is a vibrant orange-red glass. Around the rim, there are darker black flecks which are also speckled with gold aventurines that twinkle in the light. The bas has a polished pontil mark Monart pieces, the large shallow dimple is found on these smaller Monart pieces. It has no label - but it is definitely an old Monart glass dish and is being sold as such.
As you can see from my photographs - it is an interesting piece and looks great on display. It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.
I have taken lots of images were taken for your inspection.
