This is a very vibrant piece of vintage hand-blown Scottish art glass.
It dates to around the 1930s. With the completely smooth raised polished mark on the base which you find on smaller-sized Monart pieces. There is no paper label on the pontil - but these are often lost over time.
Interest in good Scottish Monart pieces are on the rise - and my price for this attractive red-orange one is certainly a very fair one.
These red-orange pieces are always hightly sought after. The main body colour is the red colour and at the top we have black and gold flecks in the glass. The gold coloured aventurine twinkle when caught in the light.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
My vase has a height of 5 1/4 inches. The diameter of the flared rim is 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The base is 3 1/2 inches wide.
The vase will be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked and Signed For post. This will be applied for your order at the checkout.
