This is a fine piece of vintage hand-blown Scottish art glass.
It dates to around the early 1950s. The main body colour is a very attractive dark aqua green / emerald colour - with a black dappled rim, sprinkled with good flakes of gold aventurine.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Nice size and stylish shape, with nipped-in waist, for display - with a height of 7 1/2 inches. The diameter at the top is 5 1/2 inches - and at the bottom, it is just under 3 3/4 inches.
A nice substantial piece of Scottish Art Glass - unpacked it is 1 kg in weight.
