This is a lovely set of FOUR fine china / porcelain large size dinner plates or serving platters. Great for serving cheese and nibbles from at cocktail parties - or just as a fancy serving plate for more formal dining. It is the "New Wave" design and made by Villeroy and Boch, Germany.
In 2004 Villeroy and Boch was granted the very first German National Industry 'Award for Innovation' for the design and the production engineering of New Wave. The design was an unconventional one - and was created with an innovative manufacturing process where the curved handles were drawn out of the same piece of clay as the body.
I am listing each large oblong plate at £20 each. So the grand total is £80 for the four plates. I have two sets of four available on the website.
Dimensions: Each plate is 13 inches x 8 3/4 inches.
The design is very space age or futuristic. These are top quality items - and have hardly (if ever) been used. They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
