The Beswick Circus (and Ballet / Dawn Chorus) patterns are amongst some of my favourite designs on 1950s British ceramics.
This stylish Circus cruet set is decorated with the ever-popular circus design. It is shape No. 1434. These cruet sets are rarer items to find in this pattern, and this is reflected in my asking price.
All pieces are in excellent condition with no damage. The salt and pepper pots have their original hard black plastic stoppers. These have perished a little over the last 70 years - I will see if I can pop in another replacement pair if you wish to use the set. But generally in good vintage condition.
The set measures: the stand is just over 5 1/4 inches in length and it is 2 1/2 inches wide. The salt and pepper pots are just over 2 1/4 inches in height. The mustard pot is base to top of finial 2 1/2 inches. The rim at the top has s diameter of 2 inches.
I also have a matching toast rack in this pattern available in my store.
I am lucky to have two of these lovely cruet sets in store at the moment.
