The Beswick Circus (and Ballet / Dawn Chorus) patterns are amongst some of my favourite designs on 1950s British ceramics.
This stylish Circus cruet set is decorated with the ever-popular circus design. It is shape No. 1434. These cruet sets are rarer items to find in this pattern, and this is reflected in my asking price.
All pieces are in excellent condition with no damage. There is a very faint bit of clean crazing on the lid of the mustard pot - commensurate with age - and hardly noticeable on display. The salt and pepper pots have their original hard black plastic stoppers.
The set measures: the stand is just over 5 1/4 inches in length and it is 2 1/2 inches wide. The salt and pepper pots are just over 2 1/4 inches in height. The mustard pot is base to top of finial 2 1/2 inches. The rim at the top has s diameter of 2 inches.
