These really large vintage TG Green Cornishware Storage Cannisters and now very hard to find.
This is amongst the large sizes of kitchenalia canisters that you find - and this one has an overall height of 8 inches and with a diameter at the top of just under 6 1/2 inches.
It is marked on the base with the very early Church Mark (the company is still known as Green & Co Ltd).
The word Sugar is under the glaze and with the sans serif lettering.
In excellent vintage condition - with no stains, nasty chips, or cracks. The glaze is without crazing and remains lovely and shiny.
In remarkable condition given its age. Perhaps because of its larger size it was not actually used but always kept as a display piece.
As mentioned these large examples and in such lovely condition are now very hard to find, and this is reflected in my asking price.
