This is a lovely vintage late1950s / early 1960s small pin dish.
It was made by U-Keramik (Übelacker) and designed by Ursula Schonhaber. It is part of the "Teenager Series". These cute wee dishes are now getting hard to source and are collectable records of teenage life in Germany in the middle of the 20th century.
Each side is 5 inches long. The main body of the dish is covered in a black eggshell glazes with a painted image of a young girl in a red dress walking her little white dog.
It is in excellent condition. There is a little hole on the back of the plate for a little hanging loop - where you can pop it on the wall. There is also a little issue number impressed on the back: It reads: 568/15.
