This is a lovely and collectable of a stoneware teapot with rattan handle, I love the understated olive green hare's fur glaze and it would certainly look fabulous in a Scandi-modern interior.
The teapot measures: 7 inches in height and with a diameter of 5 inches. The overall height to include the wicker handle is 9 inches. It is signed on the base: Palshus Denmark FB T2.
The teapot dates to the 1960s and was designed by Frode Blichfeldt Bahnsen (1923 - 1983) for Palshus. Bahnsen was a celebrated Danish sculptor and medallist who worked for the Royal Mint in Copenhagen.
It is signed on the base with his monogram.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or damages.
It will be sent to you with Parcelforce24 (signed and tracked). This will be applied to your order at the checkout. Private insurance will also be taken out to ensure that the pot is not damaged or lost in transit.
