These little mid-century pieces of Wade Pottery. The design is just so delightful. The pattern is called Shooting Stars.
On offer are the two pieces as photographed. There is a little miniature decorative jug - and a little miniature gravy boat. I love the shape of the handle on the jug - that is very stylish.
The exterior is a white-coloured eggshell finish - with printed star shapes filled in with different colours. The inside is a glossy black finish. The design is part of the Harmony range manufactured from 1957 to 1962.
Both my items as in perfect condition with no damage.
They come from my own personal collection and I have owned them and looked after them since the 1980s.
These 1950s "atomic" Wade pieces are now getting harder to source.
The little jug is 5 inches in height to the top of the spout - and from handle to spout it is 3 inches. The wee gravy boat is 5 inches in length and has a diameter 2 1/5 inches.
