This is a very stylish early 1960s West German Pottery Vase. I love the elegant shape and the incised burnt orange stripes on the exterior.
It was made by the firm: Marzi and Remy which was located in Hohr-Grenzhausen, Germany.
Dimensions: height 9 3/4 inches. The diameter of the rim is 2 1/2 inches and the diameter of the base is 3 inches.
It is in excellent condition with no damage. There is an old paper label on the side (bottom edge missing), as photographed. And fully marked to the base.
These minimalist diabelo-shaped vases with incised decoration are now very hard to source. This is reflected in my asking price. It would look fabulous on display in a Scandi-modern interior. Indeed, it reminds me a little of similar designs by Colin Melbourne for Beswick.
UK postage will be with Royal Mail Recorded. This will cost £4.95 and applied to your order at the checkout.
