This is a fine piece of mid-century Norwegian design.
It is a hard to find square-shaped side plate or shallow dish that measures 8 inches across.
The plate dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s and was made in Norway. It is from the Stavangerflint Flamingo range - as annotated on the base.
The pattern was designed by Inger Waage and it is called Bamboo.
Great for a Scandi-modern interior and serving up little tasty nibbles or titbits at a dinner party. Not only so pretty to eat from but also make fabulous wall plate decorations in a 50s kitchen.
Mu plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Unpacked: it is 500 grams in weight.
