This is an attractive decorative wall plate or charger designed by Ernst Maria Lang. was a prominent German architect, caricaturist, and cartoonist. He was known for his satirical drawings on political and social issues, especially during the Cold War.
This quirky plate is just over 10 inches in diameter. The design is a satirical one showing the German actress Marlene Dietrich in his famous role as the cabaret singer, Lola Lola, in the film the Blue Angel.
It is inscribed around the edge in German - this translates as "Most women do everything they can to change a man, and then when they change it, they don't like it anymore"
It is fully inscribed on the reverse with the production details, as photographed. It its original hanging attachment.
It is in perfect condition with no damage. It is unboxed - my price takes this into consideration - and it is listed at a very fair price.
It will be sent to you with Royal Mail Medium Size Parcel. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
