This is an attractive decorative wall plate or charger designed by the Italian fashion designed Emilio Pucci ( 1914 - 1992) for Rosenthal.
Pucci was famous for his vibrant, kaleidoscopic geometric prints and luxurious, fluid sportswear that defined 1960s jet-set style, dressing icons like Jackie Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe. This plate is a perfect addition to your funky 70s interior.
It is inscribed with the title and artist's name on the design and has all the production details on the reverse. It is 10 inches in diameter. The design looks very like the abstract fabric used by Pucci. This design is called Our Cathedral and features a stylized dome in red, green and blue
It is fully inscribed on the reverse with the production details, as photographed. It has its original hanging attachment. It is another Constructive design for Rosenthal in the 1980s - please see my other Rosenthal three vases and plates also listed.
My plate comes with its original card presentation box. The plate is pristine and the box is in generally good vintage condition.
It is an eye-catching decorative plate and would good on display in a modernist interior.
It will be sent to you with Royal Mail Medium Size Parcel. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
