These little miniature antique German figurines are highly collectable. This one is an especially finely modelled one. It is marked "foreign" on the base but it is probably by Goebel. It has such beautiful detailing to it.
It is one of three similar figurines that I have listed on my website. I have included images of this one with the other reclining figurine I also have for sale.
This one shows a flapper with her bobbed black hair - very reminiscent of the style of the Holywood actress Louise Brooks.
She is casually dressed in a summertime outfit. She has obviously been out on the beach sunbathing. She wears a dark blue vest and has bell-bottom trousers decorated with orange polka dots. She has little black pumps on her feet. She is very nautical in feel with her cute little orange and white sailor hat.
Dimensions: She is about 5 1/4 inches in length. And from base to top of the little hat it measures 1 3/4 inches.
There is no damage of any kind to the model.
This is certainly a most attractive one of its genre and this is reflected in my asking price.
