This is a very stylish piece of Continental Art Nouveau Glass. It looks similar to pieces made at the Loetz or Kralik Factories.
I think that this vase might have been made at the Carle Stolzle Glassworks (Suchenthal), and made around 1905.
The smooth iridescent surface with its random swirling dimples is just very fine and typical of Stolzle vases. On this one, I just love the lovely bronze collar which is decorated with stylish frieze featuring entwined mistletoe.
It is very tactile - and looks great in a display of Czech / Bohemian Art Nouveau glassware. A very attractive and much sought-after piece of Continental Art Glass.
The height is 7 1/2 inches. The base diameter is 4 inches and the collar at the top is 2 inches. Unpacked the vase weighs 350 grams.
My vase is in perfect condition with chips, cracks, rubbing, or scratching to the surface. The collar fits perfectly and has a rich old gold tone.
Postage would be with Royal Mail Tracked and would be applied at the checkout stage.
