This is a stylish piece of mid-century modernist Czech Art Glass.
It was designed in 1964 by Rudolf Jurnikl for Rudolfova Hut Glassworks.
This vase, made from clear pressed glass, is known by specialist collectors as the "hobnail".
The circular hobnail pattern appeared in a variety of colours, including amber, light blue, green, and purple - and in differing sizes.
This one is pattern number 13227.
This lovely example is in excellent condition with no chips or damages.
It measures: 5 inches in height - with a width of 5 inches and the depth (at the widest point) is 2 3/4 inches. Unpacked it weights 1.1 kg
