This is a lovely piece of 1930s European Art Deco Glass.
It is a large urn-shaped vase and it made of thick glass; very substantial with a great weight to it. It has a large concave polished pontil mark on the base. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
This piece is often mistaken for Scottish Glass / Monart Glass - and I have seen a few bits erroneously sold as such. This is NOT Monart (it is not one of their shapes) - but it hails from central Europe / Bohemia. It might have been better being attributed to being made by Ernst Hantich & Co as it is very similar to 1930s pieces made there.
Hantich was based in Nový Bor (Haida), Bohemia (now Czech Republic). The company was a significant producer of art glass in the early 20th century. They often produced mottled, spattered, and marbled glass similar in style to Monart or Franz Welz.
It is certainly a rather monumental piece of Art Deco Bohemian glass. It looks great on display in a Deco interior. It is very substantial weighing 4.7 kg unpacked. It is 9 inches in height. The diameter of the rim is 7 1/2 inches. At the widest point it is 8 1/4 inches. The foot is 5 1/2 inches.
It is in excellent condition with no damages of any kind. The glass is blue shades around the rim, at the neck it is amber and to the base it is purple, orange green shades. It is a bit of a beast of antique glass!
It is going to cost a little more to post to you - due to its large size and weight. It will be sent with Parcelforce (Heavy Parcel). This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
