This is a fine vintage clear glass candleholder that dates to the 1970s.
It was designed by Don Sheperd and made in West Virginia in the United States.
It was made by Blenko Glass - but is has lost its original sticker over the years.
It is a lovely piece. It has a simple organic minimal design and is made of solid cast glass. The form looks a little like a mushroom.
It is in excellent condition with no damage.
It measures just over 3 inches in height (8cm). The diameter at the top is 3 1/2 inches (9cm). The foot measures 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter, The diameter of the candle would have to be just under an inch (2.2 cm).
