This is a stylish 1950s / 1960s Italiam Murano / Mandruzzato Sommerso Block Vase.
It is a nice tall and slender example - each side measures the same size and the footprint of the vase takes a square shape.
The height of the vase is 7 inches. The length of each side is 1 1/2 inches.
The vase is cased with an internal clear light brown glass - with the next layer being a clear yellow tone. This is all cased in an external thick layer of clear glass. The edges are nicely cut and every corner on the vase is free from any chips. The colours on this vase are very subtle and it would display at its best against a darker background or in a collection of similar Murano block vases.
