This is a lovely vintage piece of hand blown Mdina / Michael Harris glass.
It takes of form of a decorative modernist vase - and has an internal decorative panel of sea-inspired colours - which recall the seas around the island of Malta.
The inner coloured core is cased in clear glass - which has two clear flat polished facets on one side - and a clear slightly textured curve on the other side.
I love the subtle striped colours on the lower inner lozenge.
This is a lovely example of an early Mdina glass lollipop vase - it is unmarked and would probably have had a paper label.
