These are very stylish vintage Danish Schnapps glasses.
They are hand-blown and made by the Danish Glass Company, Holmegaard. They are Princess glasses and were originally designed by Bent O. Severin in 1957 for Kastrup Glasværk, The production was later transferred to Holmegaard Glasværk in 1968 and manufactured until about 1978, after which it became a made-to-order item until 1995.
I have five available in total. THE PRICE HERE IS FOR ONE GLASS ONLY. I am listing them at a very fair price of £20 each glass.
I also have a decanter from this range listed in my store.
The glasses are extremely delicate with their nipped-in waist section - and this makes them rare items. The bottom section is made of solid clear glass - and I love the little bottle contained in it - as photographed.
It is the tallest glass in the range - this Schnapps glass is 15 cm or just under 6 inches. The diameter at the rim is 3.5 cm.
They are unsigned but would have probably just had a paper label when they were retailed in the 50s by Kastrup Holmegaard. They are all without damage.
They are very fragile as glasses - so probably ones for very special occasions - or for display in a vintage Danish rosewood cocktail cabinet.
I would have to send to UK addresses only.
