This is a fine PAIR of vintage Edinburgh Crystal goblets or small wine glasses.
The pattern is not a named one, as such - but it is known by the pattern code ED 124.
On offer here is a PAIR of these large wine glasses - suitable for a large glass of white - or a nice average-sized red, if filled to near the brim!
In this more unusual "diabelo" or dumbell-type pattern - I have just these two glasses available in our store. I have these listed at £40 the pair - which is a good price! The were difficult of photograph - and they certainly look much better in "real life".
They are about 6 1/2 inches in height. The rim has a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. The foot has a diameter of 3 inches.
I have taken lots of photographs for your inspection. The pattern is a more modern one - and does not rely on etched geometric patterns to create a design - but relies on lots of facets - made of cone shapes with rounded tops - which look like diabolos when placed together. It is now discontinued and has a much harder crystal design to source.
They have no etched inscription on the base - but without a doubt, they are lovely vintage Edinburgh Crystal. (ED 134) ones.
