These antique bell decanters always look fabulous on a bureau in a Victorian parlour.
This one is a rather exceptional one and a large substantial example. It is a stonking 13 1/2 inches to the stop of the stopper.
It has an annulated neck ring above the pillar moulded body. There is a polished pontil on the base. The stopper is original and is moulded to match the body.
This one is special in that the decorative ribbing on the main body section has three cut facets along the length of each rib. The top of each rib finished with angled facets. You usually find the the ribs are simply applied but this decanter has a greater attention to detail.
It is a very heavy piece of glass where and will look fantastic in a period interior. Your wont find another of this quality easily. The sheer quality of this bell decanter is reflected in my asking price. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
The decanter is in good antique condition. The interior is nice and clear with no clouding or discolouration to the inside.
Due to its weight and size - it will have to be sent to you with Parcelforce24. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
Dimesions: The height is 13 1/2 inches. The base has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches.
