This is a lovely pair of antique Japanese ceramics.
They were made by Maruhon in the 1920s or 1930s.
They are lovely old sugar shakers - taking the form of lighthouses. They are so sweet, and I love all the little plants growing around the doors. The lighthouse top has holes for the sugar or flour to be shaken out off.
Each shaker fills from the base - and is sealed with a stopper.
The maker's name is also on the base of each lighthouse.
Both come from my own collection and are in excellent condition with no damages. They are both nice and clean.
The green-capped one is 5 1/2 inches in height and the slightly smaller one is 5 inches.
Both will be sent to you by Royal Mail Recorded post in the UK. This will cost £5.50 and applied to your order at the checkout.
