This is a chunky and rather flash vintage designer silver ring - it is very glamourous Hollywood style - and great for wearing out all dressed up. It is a large size and probably not an item for everyday wear.
It is heavy solid silver - and marked inside the hoop 925. The hoop is wide and substantial. There is a little circle cut into the hoop to allow light to shine up into the central stone (a sign of quality making). It is not dated - but has a bit of age to it - possibly dating to the 1980s.
It takes the form of a flower head like a daisy. It is created in two tiers. The amethyst coloured stones / faceted crystals are beautifully set as you can see in my photographs - so a good quality made ring.
It is nice and sturdy and all the stones are held firmly in place. There are tiny marquise chip inclusions at the base of the raised central stone. I have checked these out with a spyglass and I think that one tiny marquise chip might be missing. I cannot see this unless examined under a magnifying glass - and you certainly won't see this when it is worn.
