This is a fabulous large square silk Foulard scarf designed for Liberty.
It is in lovely "as new" condition and comes in its original box. The pattern is a fantastic printed Art Nouvean ones called Ianthe. This scarf has the black, pink and purple colour scheme.
It has its original Liberty label and another tag saying that is was made in Italy and is 100% silk. The Liberty name and crest appears in one corner of the scarf and forms part of the design.
It is currently still on sale at Liberty - where this size and design is prices at £245.
It is a large size measuring 84 x 86 cm. So a good large size for folding an wrapping over your shoulders or with a fancy bow tied around your neck. It is clean, and never been worn - so is in "as new" condition.
It also comes with its original purple box - with a gold Liberty logo on the lid. There is a tiny dent on the top to the lid, this is shown in my last photograph.
It was tricky to photograph - so I hope that my photos have done it justice. You will not be disappointed with it.
It is listed at a fair price for an original Liberty thich silk scarf of this size and given its original retail price. It is a certainly a most attractive and rather stunning scarf.
