This brooch design was inspired by the ancient Viking myth of Ingibiorg - who was the fairest of maidens. It is 925 Sterling Silver - and handcrafted in Orkney by Ola Marie Gorie. The shapes are pierced tree-like branches on a textured background.
My brooch is pre-loved but in pristine vintage condition. It is nice and clean and ready to wear.
It is marked 925 and with Ola's 1990s OG mark (as photographed).
Dimensions: 3.1 cm wide and 2.5 cm in height.
This brooch is still in production today - and retails for £220. So this pre-loved one is a bit of a bargain to add to your collection of Ola Gorie pieces.
