This is a sweet and collectable little antique early 20th-century Scottish brooch.
It is a beautifully made piece of Edwardian jewellery. The pin remains sharp and the hinge of the pin is sturdy.
It is of miniature scale but a fine brooch taking the form of an Iona Cross.
The brooch has an old c-scroll catch on the back- as photographed.
The silver is polished and has the word SILVER on the reverse.
The brooch is inset with decorative pieces of Iona green mottled marble. It would look great on a cap or label. Very understated in size - but big in design!
These old silver brooches (even of such a miniature size) are much sought after. This one is in superb condition.
Dimensions: the height is 2.8 cm - and at the widest it is 2 cm.
