This is a lovely 20th-century Holophane-style lampshade.
It is one of five matching ones that I currently have listed for sale at the moment (I have taken group photographs of them all together as a group). Just so there is no confusing THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE SHADE ONLY.
The glass shade is NOTE marked to the neck with the usual Holophane word - but nevertheless, it is an old shade copying the genuine holophane designs - and looks fabulous on display - you only know that it is not a genuine Holophane example through the lack of the impressed word.
It is made of clear moulded glass with close decorative ribbing all over - as photographed.
This is a single shade - which will look great hung in any room of your house - it is simply a beautiful classic design. It comes with a clean brass shade holder - which is nice and shiny - in perfect condition.
Dimensions: Overall the height with brass fitment is 4 3/4 inches. The diameter is 6 inches at its widest. The apperture at the shade of the glass shade (not the brass holder) is 2 1/8 inches. The apperture for the cable is 3/8 th inches (1 cm). There are no chips or cracks.
The fact that it is a copy is reflected in my reduced asking price for this shade. It is still a bit of a bargain!
