This is a lovely vintage 1970s Guzzini Style White Plastic & Chrome Mushroom Hanging Ceiling Light.
It is a very good quality light and is possibly not fully Italian in origin, but probably British Made under license.
The label inside the shade reads: Prova. Made in Britain. These shades were also made by Prova for use on table lamps. This shade can only be used as a hanging ceiling shade - as the fitment is not suitable for a table lamp.
It has an Italian Rolly style rise and fall mechanism inside, as photographed.
It is certainly a fine vintage space-age white globular shade with a rise and fall mechanism. It has a coiled cord and the rolly mechanism inside allows the shade to be pulled down and raised up.
The cable is curly around the main flex and covered with a white woven textile cloth.
The light is in excellent vintage condition - with no apparent damages. It is an authentic vintage shade - indeed, I can confirm that it has been up in my loft all packed up for the last 20 years when I moved in.

It is certainly a lovely genuine 1970s British large modernist futuristic shade - you won't be disappointed with it.
Dimensions: The diameter at the widest point is 15 inches. The height is 11 inches.
It has a minimum drop of about 30 inches (can be pulled down longer). So hope this helps you to decide if it will fit into your interior.
