These little antique table lamps are always popular items.
These come from my own collection. I used to have six real budgies in my younger days!
This is a pretty lamp made in Austria and dating to the 1920s. It is in good antique condition with no damages to the green onyx base or the budgies. I think in the past (it wasnt me!) someone has varnish the tree trunk and the wee birds to bring out the colours. But that is the only issue with this one. I have it listed at a nice low price to reflect this.
The budgies have a green body and yellow head with feather details.
The lamp is a nice size - from the bottom of the base to the top of the brass bulb holder it is 12 inches (30.5 cm. The base measures 5 x 3 1/2 inches. Unpacked it is 1.6 kg in weight.
It has been re-wired and earthed for your safety. It will look fabulous in a period apartment. The on-off switch is on the bulb holder. We have about 3 metres of new "old-fashioned style" gold coloured flex.
The price is a fair one for this highly decorative and collectable antique bronze lamp. I have sent lots of images for your inspection. It probably looks better in "real life" than is suggested in my photos.
