This is an attractive little original Art Deco table lamp - it is probably more of an accent light for being a feature illuminating a recess or dark corner.
It is in excellent antique condition with no damage and still has its original shade.
To the right is a fine spelter figure of a little Roe deer. The metal has been given a patina to look like bronze - and it is still nice and shiny with no dents or scratches. The deer is standing in some foliage and has a lovely profile. He has two little horns to the front - amazingly, these are still intact - and have never been broken or restored.
The base is a nice thick slab of striated marble - I have taken lots of images of this for you. To the right of the lamp is a little round ball shade - this is original to the lamp. It is made of slightly opaque clear-coloured glass - it has a crackle texture - so the light from the bulb inside will be quite subtle (as photographed).
It has a cloth-covered cable - and its original finger switch to turn the light on and off.
