These are a little pair of antique Victorian picture frames.
Each frame is made of wood - with the back covered in a purple and blue flock velvet. On the front of each is a decorative silver border with intricate floral and c-scroll patterns. The larger heart shaped one has a hallmark - above the cartouche at the top. This hallmark says that it is was made in Birmingham in 1889 and the initials W.D (which I think is for William Devenport). The smaller one has a hallmark for Birmingham in 1906.
The original glass is present on both frames. They are in good antique condition and nice additions to your collection of miniature silver frames. There is a little minor indentation to the little cartouches at the top of each frame - this is quite a customary occurrence with these frames and is not so disfiguring. You can see this in my photographs.
The heart shaped frame is late Victorian and measures: 8 cm in height and with a width of 6.3 cm at the widest. I am listing it at £45.
The easel shape frame is Edwardian and measures: 4.8 cm in height and is 4 cm at the widest point. This is offered at £25.
