This is a great display piece - a smaller-sized antique Victorian chemist bottle. It dates to the late 19th century / early 20th century. It is complete with its original red, white, and gold foil label with a glass cover.
The label reads SUCC: TARAXACI
There is an impressed mark on the base for the York Glass Company.
This is in good condition as you can see. The inside of the glass bottle is nice and clean - and the foil label is also nice and clean with generally no issues. It will look fabulous with a nice colour liquid inside it in your kitchen or bathroom.
The bottle has its original square lozenge stopper which fits nicely and is snug in the neck of the bottle.
The height including the stopper is 6 1/2 inches and the diameter is just over 2 1/4 inches - these wee ones are a bit harder to find - and the name on the label is certainly a rarer one - this is reflected in my asking price.
