This is one of a little selection of vintage Tootal scarves that I have had at home. These scarves were very popular with Mods back in the 1960s. This is a genuine vintage example from that date. This one is very like a Tootal Scarf - but it is made by a rival company and is a Sammy.
They have been carefully packed away for many years - and indeed I forgot that I had them.
They are all in excellent condition - generally nice and clean.
Each has a Tootal label - saying that they are all Rayon - and you have to wash them like silk. They are all Made in England
This one has no damage to it. It has a pale grey ground colour and a busy Paisley pattern. It has long yellow fringes at each end.
