This is a very rare car badge - made to advertise Jet Petroleum in the 1960s.

It has never been used and is in pristine, "as new" condition.

It was made by J.R, Gaunt in England - as annotated on the badge.

The chrome is very shiny and the enamel without any chips or scratches.

Jet Petroleum Ltd was established back in 1954 by Bill Roberts - he took the name for the company from the prefix used on vehicles registered in Rotherham in Yorkshire.

The Jet Club was started in 1967 with lots of badges etc and the slogan "Have you joined the Jet Set Yet".

This car badge is probably one for the specialist collector - and is a great piece of British Motoring History and British Advertising History.

As you can see in my photographs - a lovely example with no damages.

Overall height is 4 3/4 inches (12 cm). Width at widest point is just over 3 inch
