These are a very attractive pair of vintage wooden candlesticks.
I have owned these a good number of years now - but I had them carefully packed away and only spotted them when looking for something else the other day.. as you do!
They are made of wood - I think that it is teak - and both have a good bit of weight to them. They have a lovely grain to the wood, as photographed. Each candlestick has a little metal sconce cup inside - a good fit and original to the candlesticks.
They are of exceptional height measuring 11 3/4 inches (30 cm).
The diameter of the candle section at the top is 2 inches (5 cm).
The diameter of the base is 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm). The diameter of the metal sconce section is just under 3/4 inch - 1.8 cm to be accurate!
Both candleholders have not been used - and have no signs of heat damage. The wood is in good condition and has been waxed before listing so they are in tip-top condition. There are no scratches or dings to the surface of the wood. They are listed at a fair price.
Sadly I have been unable to find any maker's mark - and there is no little stamp saying Denmark. So I am here listing it as Scandi-Style, but probably made in Denmark on a stylistic basis.
