This is a really adorable vintage Scottish paperweight.
It is entitled ROBIN. It features a sweet little robin red-breast sitting on a brown branch with a large pink lampwork clematis flower to the right.
The central image is encircled with a garland of tiny millefiori canes, and with a second ring of canes around the outer edge.
This is a faceted or cushion cut weight with polished circular windows around the sides. It is fully signed to the base, as photographed. It is from a limited edition of 500 weights. This one has the etched edition number on the base: 177
Designed by the Scottish glass maestros, Colin Terris (1937 - 2006) and Willian Manson.
It measures just under 3 inches in diameter. Of course, in perfect condition with no damages.
