This is a fine vintage paperweight - made in Scotland by Strathearn Glass in the 1970s.
There is a thin scarlet red ground, into which the millefiori canes are placed. The center has a rosette with a central cane in white and blue, surrounded by a ring of sugar-pink millefiori. There are seven latticinio canes that issue from the rosette as spokes. In each section in between the spokes, there are more millefiori- in lemon yellow, pink & blue, and on the outside green & blue.
All tutti-frutti colours - a little like you might find an old-fashioned sweetie. The diameter is 2 1/4 inches and the height is 2 inches.
No damages or scratches to the glass. Fair price for this fine vintage paperweight.
