This is a pretty vintage paperweight by Alastair MacIntosh. It is called Silver Rain and is dated to 1992.
The weight is ball-shaped and inherently clear in colour. There is a large central air bubble with a halo of very fine controlled bubbles around.
It measures just under 3 inches in diameter and with a height of 2 1/4 inches.
It is a very pretty weight that is in good vintage condition - with no chips, scratches or damages.
It is a much simpler design and from a larger edition. This is reflected in the lower price of this one. Pretty enough little weight - perhaps a nice gift for a silver wedding anniversary.
