This is a fine vintage Perthshire paperweight - it dates to the early 1970s - so now about 50 years old.
It is in excellent condition with no damages.
It is a medium millefiori weight with five cane clusters surrounding a central cluster on a translucent deep purple ground. Each cluster contains six or seven canes in a ring or rosette around a central cane.
The paperweight has a flat polished star-cut base. It is unsigned - it dates from 1969 - 1973. Perthshire Catalogue Number PP10.
Dimensions: the diameter is 2 1/4 inches. The height is 1 1/2 inches.
