This is a very attractive teardrop-shaped paperweight designed for Caithness Glass by Margot Thomson.
It has a fabulous shape with a faceted and polished viewing window on the opposing side.
When you look into either polished facet - you can another clear teardrop-shaped air bubble - and this is surrounded the twirling ribbons of fine pink and blue parallel lines. The base colour is a rich Royal blue colour.
It is number 94 out of an edition of 650 (closed at 628). It measures 3 inches in diameter and 3 3/4 inches in height. Weight: 515 grams.
