This is certainly a very stylish paperweight to add to your collection.
It was made by the glass maestro at Caithness Glass, Colin Terris (1937 - 2006). It is a over-the-top floral design and called Solitaire (as annotated on the etched inscription on the base).
The solitaire reference comes from the single little crocus head in the centre of the weight. It is surrounded by six red petals reaching out and up to the top of the weight. The crown or dome is slightly tinged with a lilac shade.
Being a slightly earlier large Terris weight and No. 401 from a limited edition of 1000 - it is has a slightly higher price tag on it.
It is in perfect condition with no damages.
The paperweight measures 2 3/4 inches in height with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. It is 600 grams in weight.
It will cost £5.50 to send to the UK with Royal Mail Recorded. This will be applied at the checkout stage.
