This is a really fine Scottish glass paperweight.
As you can see it is beautifully made and was created by Strathearn Glass. This Strathearn weight dates to the 1970s and has a black ground or base.
The canes are beautifully placed with eight fine and delicate spiral latticino twists, which radiate like spokes from the central rosette.
The central millefiori rosette is a white colour. In between each twist and more millefiori canes - four in total in dark blue, blue & pinks, and pale sugar pink tones. A very attractive vintage Scottish glass paperweight.
It measures 1 3/4 inches in height with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches.
The paperweight is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
