This is a vintage powder compact for pressed face powder.
It was made by a company called Mimosa. It dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s.
It has never been used and it is still in its original thin cardboard box. It is in a like-new condition - so no hygiene issues with it.
The main body is gold-tone - and the top of the lid has a transfer-printed flower design. Very pretty mid-century pressed powder compact. The mirror inside the lid is clean and without marks or spots on the surface. There is no maker's mark on the box or compact.
The diameter is 7.5 cm (3 inches).
I have taken lots of images for your inspection. My asking price reflects its age and its exceptional condition.
