This is a vintage powder compact for pressed face powders.
It is marked: Made in Great Britain. It dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s. It has never been used and it is still in its original box. It is in a like-new condition - so no hygiene issues with it.
The main body is gold-tone - and the top of the lid has a floral design with pale blue and light pink hydrangeas. Very pretty mid-century pressed powder compact.
The mirror inside the lid is clean and without marks or spots on the surface.
The diameter is 7.5 cm (3 inches).
I have taken lots of images for your inspection. My asking price reflects its age and its exceptional condition.
There is no maker's mark on the box or compact.
