This is an attractive antique Scottish pottery little side plate.
It is marked Mak Merry to the base. and dates to the 1920s / 1930s. It is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.
The plate has a pattern of autumn fruits and berries set against a white and pale lemon background. It is a great display piece - with no chips or cracks. There is a little bit of crazing to the glaze that you often find on these Mak Merry wares. It is more easy to see on the reverse - but you can hardly see any evidence of it on the front.
I am listing this sweet little plate at £25 given its condition - and the quality of the paintwork on it. These Mak Merry piece in this fine condition are not hard to find - this is reflected in my asking price.
UK Postage with Royal Mail Recorded will be £5.50 and applied at the checkout.
